We can service and calibrate virtually any manual ocular or projection focimeter and we have a large supply of spare parts for most popular makes such as Topcon, Nidek, Nikon, Shin Nippon and Takagi. We can also service many types of automatic focimeters such as Nidek LM-820 and LM-990, Nikon NL-1, NL-2 and NL-30, Tomey TL-900, TL-2000 and TL-3000 and their equivalents supplied by Keeler and Canon. Other types can be serviced so please ask for details.
We know how important it is to have your focimeter in perfect working order. If the diopter calibration, cylinder axis, target alignment or marking pins assembly is not correctly set, you could be wasting a lot of time and money making spectacles incorrectly and upsetting your customers as well.
We ensure that all focimeters are mechanically and electrically sound, optically clean and aligned and calibrated.
We have a full set of high quality lenses calibrated to a tolerance of 1/100 diopter as well as axis tool, prism tool and marking pins gauge. We also have a set of lenses in powers +/-5 diopters, +/-10 diopters, +/-15 diopters and +/- 20 diopters calibrated by NPL in accordance with BS ISO 9337.
