We repair all models of Nikon Autorefractors, most Nidek autorefractors including AR-800, ARK-900, AR-1000, Topcon RMA2000, RMA3000 and RMA6000, Essilor and Hoya autorefractors. We specialise in video camera, monitor and power supply repairs and can offer a cost-effective repair on many faults which would otherwise require new, very expensive components. Most makes and models can be serviced so please ask for details.
On all autorefractors, it is important for the front objective lens to be spotlessly clean. We ensure all of the optics are clean and check for mechanical faults. We can repair most autorefractors and we have a full set of test pieces from -22D to +20Ds in 2D steps. We also have a test piece with a Cylinder Axis and K reading adjustment tools.
We also specialise in repairing the video monitors and cameras which produce the image of the patient's eye.
Nidek AR-1000, AR1100, AR-800, ARK-900, AR-600, ARK-700
Nidek Autorefractor models AR-800 and ARK-900 are prone to video camera and monitor failure. We can carry out a cost effective repair to these faults.

Handy Hints
If your autorefractor has suddenly started giving large cylinder readings where none are present, it is likely to be caused by a greasy smear on the front objective lens. Make sure that the objective lens, which is the one nearest the patient's eye is spotlessly clean for the best accuracy.
